Field Description for the New Opportunity Page

Name

Name refers to the name of the transaction.

Account

Account refers to the customer with which the transaction is done.

Contact

Contact refers to the Contact of the person.

Lead Source

Refers to the source through which lead has been obtained.

Owner

User using the software.

Type

Select the type from the drop-down list to which business transaction belongs.

PriceBook

Refers to the pricing details of the product/service which has to be used in the business transaction.

Campaign

Select the campaign through which client has been obtained.

Stage

Stage refers to the stage of the opportunity.

Probability

Refers to the probability % of the opportunity to succeed.

Deal Status

Select the status of the business deal.

Currency

Select the currency of the country to which the client belongs to.

Description

Refers to the description related to that opportunity.

Forecast Category

Refers to the forecast category of the business deal i.e., whether it is the best case, omitted, pipeline, closed, commit.

Expected Close Date

Close date by which the deal is expected to close.

Exchange Rate

Refers to the exchange rate in which business transaction has to be done.

  • 4. Click the Save button to save the Opportunity.

Note: You have Save and New option to save the current Opportunity and automatically load a new page to create a new Opportunity and Cancel to cancel the current Opportunity creation.

To edit the saved Opportunity.

2. View

To select the view layout of the Opportunities page.

3. Look in

Shows the users who can access the page.

4. New

To create a new Opportunity.

5. Actions (3Dot)

To perform various actions.

6. Split Button

To view Opportunities in list view or split view.

7. Search Opportunity

To search the saved Opportunity by putting in the name.

8. Filter

To sort the Opportunities by using filter options.

To show complete details of the selected Opportunity.

Shows the activities and attachments in reference to the selected opportunity.

7. Activity Stream

Shows all the activities related to the Account.

8. Print

To print the page.

9. Email Data

To email the data of page.
